Thursdays - (Longer distance training)


Unless otherwise shown, sessions start from Neatherd School, (or meet at the location by 7pm, warmed up and ready.)

Group Information- The Intention is to run two Options / Groups 1 & 2, with Geoff mainly preparing Option 2. 

Option 1 is likely to be a longer session and pre-set before the day, although anybody can choose what they prefer to do on the night. 

Please be aware that the interval running speed is designed to be quicker than your average speed over the km or mile, thus includes rest periods.

If you wish to race you will need to train in addition to attendance at coaching sessions. It is recommended to run with someone else of equal ability, for safety or assistance in the event of an accident. Coaches can provide training programmes on request. Increases in time/distance need to be gradual to avoid injury. Please listen to your body and ensure you get adequate rest between racing sessions. The Members Area has exercises to improve your race performance and reduce risk of injury.
