Parkrun 11th December 2021
Yesterday Peter Swales crossed the River Waveney into Suffolk to run at his 92nd different parkrun event on the Harleston Magpies hockey complex. The course perhaps not the most inspiring as it zig zags across the training areas but nether-the-less there are still fine views beyond into the Suffolk countryside.
Congratulations to Peter who is now firmly established at the head of our most events leader board.
Sarah Lake ran an interesting one lap parkrun at Panshanger park which is situated amongst fine countryside between Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. Well done to Sarah who is now on 65 parkrun events.
Noting each week where DRAC runners are competing in the parkrun world, I often wonder on how many of the 342 different UK and 741 world parkrun events has the Dereham Runners flag been raised !
