Parkrun 15th January 2022

On a freezing winters morning Dereham Runners enthusiam for parkrun was still as strong as ever.

Peter Swales who ran at Alton Water just South of Ipswich now only needs five more events to complete the one hundred events challenge.

Congratulations must go to Lisa Pyatt who ran the fastest overall time at King's Lynn of 20:24.

I would recommend to Lisa to now try Storeys Field in Cambridge which I think is an even faster course then the Walks (where there is no 'u' turn round the lamp post).

It was good to see that Dereham runners had four volunteers out this morning. I find it very rewarding when runners come up to you afterwards and personally thank you for your time. You also have the satisfaction of knowing you have helped to put an event where everyone goes home happy.
