Ryston Cross Country 16th January 2022
A big well done to ALL those who turned out today for the 4th leg of the Ryston runners cross country series. This month was the 5k course for the U17s and all the seniors and masters, and the usual 800m,2k and 3k for the younger age groups. Today I believe there was a sea of Red sprinting off the start line in the woods of Shouldham Warren with 34 runners in total, with 6 medals won across the age groups by Jacob Last (2nd), Louis Preston (3rd), Isabella Green (3rd), Elizabeth Daly (2nd), Louise Hudson (2nd), Terry Brunton (3rd).with 16 others joining them winning points in the visitors cup, but it’s not all about scoring the points it about getting out there giving it a go and representing your club. Which was great to see by the photos and the results. The next Ryston Cross Country is Sunday 20th February it’s 9k for seniors/masters and 4.5k for U17s. The same distances as usual for the younger runners...well done to U11 Junior Daniel Rudling today on his first outing for Team DRAC, hopefully we will see some more juniors next time.
