Rules

  • At every Grand Prix race the winner in each GP age group scores 100 points, second place scores 99 points and so on.

  • The final standings will aggregate your best nine performances from any of the fourteen Grand Prix races in this year's Series.

  • The junior category (unto and including age 14) must run both 5km races with their aggregate score to count. Intermediate category (aged 15 to 17 inclusive) may enter any of the nine races of a distance 5km, 5 mile or 10km, with the best six races to count.

  • Age for your cat is the age you will be on the last day of the actual year, so for next year your age on 31st Dec is your cat.

  • Age groups start at 40 for male and female, ie 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. 70+

  • If you don't manage to complete the minimum of nine races you will still count in the final standings but clearly it's a good idea to do as many as possible.

  • At the end of each season, the series awards will be presented at the Night of Celebrations (further details of which will be published nearer the time).
